Thanksgiving at John & Mona's

I'm behind in posting, but here's a look at our Thanksgiving this year. Casey's cousins, John and Mona, offered up their home for the day so we drove to Vernon Hills, Illinois to see everyone.

Casey's (2nd) Cousin Adrienne...I told her she could put Mallory down at any point, but for some reason she didn't mind holding her. (Shannon, I know you saw it, but this picture is proof that Mallory does occasionally rock some hair accessories!)
A funny moment before dinner...Cousin Chris wondering, "Which spoon is appropriate for strawberry pretzel salad??"
Cousin John, our generous host, carving up the bird... (I don't know WHAT he got on his apron...somebody wipe it off, I think it says "Chicago Cubs"!!)
Cousin Jill, Cousin Nancy, Casey's dad and Granny...
(2nd) Cousins Chloe and Shelby with their exchange student from Brazil and Katie...
Casey made sure I got a picture of his cousin Tony holding Mallory. Tony was in college when Casey was Mallory's age and lived with Casey's parents (got that?) so he spent many a day holding Casey just like this...

Mallory with her Auntie Shannon...
Being entertained by Uncle Steve...he makes her laugh EVERY time!
Uncle Rock with Cole...I believe this was near the end of the day when Cole needed to be held so as to stop him from grazing and eating everything in his path. "Hey, here's a cookie...ooooh, some broccoli...are you going to eat that pie? Can we get a snack at the gas station?" My nephew, the garbage disposal...quite honestly, he's a little man after my own heart...eat, eat, eat!!
Gran...so excited to have FINALLY met her 33rd (I think???) GREAT grandchild!!
Four Generations of Kane

Casey and I have so much to be thankful for every year...good health, loving family and friends, of course, each other...and this year, our blessings have been multiplied with a beautiful daughter. Her first Thanksgiving was a day to remember as we spent time with great people we don't see nearly as often as we'd like...some of which we haven't seen since Thanksgiving at John and Mona's TWO years ago! John and Mona, thank you for another great holiday - we wouldn't have missed it!
