New Patio

Oh yeah! Casey and I decided it was finally time to get rid of the lannon stone "patio" that was outside our back garage door. It had seen better days and was quite the mud puddle throughout the winter and any time it rained. Anyway, we spent two Saturdays in June on this beauty!

(I don't have a before picture, you'll just have to trust that this is a serious improvement!) I'm proud of us!!

Mommy's Helper

Mallory hasn't spent enough time in the grass to learn to enjoy it ... as a result, the blanket we laid out last weekend acted as quite a nice "playpen" while Casey and I did some yard work. We figure the blanket trick will work at least until she can walk. Hee hee.

Power Tools

I have to say ... I enjoy working in the yard.

I especially enjoy the times when Casey and I can be outside

working in the yard together.

Even more than that I love working in the yard with

POWER TOOLS!Edging the lawn = not so fun.

Edging with a gas-powered edger = SUPER fun!
