Easter Weekend - 2012

We went to Illinois for Easter this year - the weekend included dying Easter eggs, family time, playing outside, hiding Easter eggs, hunting for Easter eggs, and our first experience at a hibachi restaurant - all good times! Enjoy!

With splashy dyes we decided to go topless, haha.

Or markers. :)

A little fun in the backyard.

Easter morning -
waiting for Daddy to see if the Easter bunny came.

 Looks like it!

The Easter Bunny may have overestimated
the amount of eggs necessary for two girls. ;)

February Snowfall

We didn't get a lot of snow this winter, but we took advantage of the little that we did get. Abby was indifferent to the weather, but she did like to shovel. :)

And she would have preferred to knock down the snowman. :)

Mallory was very excited about using buckets to build 'snow castles'.

This is hot, right?
They worked for the handful of snowfalls we got.

The puppies like to join the snow fun.
Claddagh loves to play fetch in the snow.

More snow castles.

Someone would rather make SAND castles.

Daddy distracted her with more shoveling. :)

And it wouldn't be a snow day without climbing the 'mountain'.

Apple Holler

We met our friends at Apple Holler in mid-September. It was a great early fall day and worth the short drive we took to get there!

Feeding the goats is always a safe start.
And believe me when I say fun was had by ALL!
Don't worry Kenny, we have more quarters...
Posing with the pumpkins
Here's our friend, Ainsley
(it just so happens she is 8 days younger than Abby)
Paul Bunyan's Chair = family photo op!
Good job, Daddy.
On the wagon out to the apple orchard
Anne & Ainsley
The girls all had fun collecting apples!
I knew Mallory was snacking on the apples,
but I didn't realize she nibbling on ALL of them.

Momma Mallory sharing her apple with "Ains-wee".
"Take a bite, Ains-wee. Ohhh, is that good? Oh, want more - here you go, take another bite."
